Gladys Warren

Gladys Nannie Parker Warren, 82, of Prosperity, widow of Fredrick Briggs Warren, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at her residence.

Born on May 15, 1927 in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Hillard and Cora Lee Lambert Parker. She was retired from Southern Bell Telephone and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Michael Lee Warren of Grand Rapids, MI and James Herbert Warren of Waynesville, NC; brothers, Harold Lee Parker and Herbert H. Parker both of Prosperity and James Lewis Parker of Grayford, TX; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Freedom Baptist Church by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Memorials may be made to the American Stroke Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glenn Allen, VA 23060.
