Harold Randall “Randy” Black, 83, of Leesville died on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at his residence.

Born on April 20, 1943 in Newberry, he was a son of the late Harold Jacob and Frances Wood Black. Mr. Black was a graduate of Newberry High School and served in the South Carolina National Guard. He retired from Allied Chemical after 30 years of service and he was a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church. Randy was passionate about hunting and fishing and spent as much time as he could either in the woods or on the lake. He enjoyed working in his garden and having fish frys for his family and friends. Most of all, Randy loved  spending time with his granddaughter, “Little Cotton.”

He is survived by his wife, Ann Corley Black; a son, Jay Black and his wife Michele of Nichols; and his granddaughter, Olivia Black.

He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Black and by a sister, Kathy McGee.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Jay Black. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 1900 Sunset Blvd. Ste. 103, West Columbia, SC 29169.
