Helen Gilbert

Helen Elizabeth Wicker Gilbert, 61, of Newberry, died Monday, December 26, 2011, at Providence Hospital.

Born on July 21, 1950, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late George William and Evelyn King Wicker. She was a member of Prosperity Church of God.

She is survived by daughters, Beth Gilbert and Mary Gilbert both of Newberry and Helen Dandy of Rock Hill; a sister, Pat Williams of Rock Hill and granddaughters, Sky, Christin and Angela.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Bobby Logan. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. Thursday at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials sent to the funeral home to be applied to the funeral expenses at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
