Herman William "Billy" Dawkins

Herman William “Billy” Dawkins, 74, of Kinards, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at his home.

Born on September 12, 1950, in Newberry, he was the son of the late Herman G. and Brunell Livingston Dawkins. He was retired from Newberry Feed & Farm and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church. He had a great love for horses and over the years he spent many hours caring for and riding horses.

Billy is survived by his wife, Tora Hendrikson Dawkins; a daughter, Tina Lynny Tucker of Newberry; a sister, Ann Long of Pomaria and grandchildren, Ty Wise and Melissa Tucker. He was predeceased by a son, Jamie Dawkins.
