Hope Crowder

Hope Barrett Crowder, 52, of Newberry, died Friday, July 19, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born on July 29, 1966 in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Janie Mae Sosby Barrett. She was a former employee of Murphy U.S.A. In Newberry. Hope enjoyed cooking,baking cakes, and reading. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David Lynn Crowder; a son, Justin Roberts of Greenville; a daughter, Kaitlyn Wallace of Newberry; sisters, Pat Simpson of Greenwood and Lynne Burdette; 3 grandchildren, Ashlynn Roberts, Mason Roberts, and Kai'jah Bell; a special niece, Liz Simpson; and a host of nieces and nephews that will cherish her memory.

She was predeceased by sisters, Linda Norris and Penny Nelson; and by brothers, Charles Barrett and Hershele Barrett.
