Jack Schofield

John Rodney “Jack” Schofield, 81, of Prosperity, formerly of Akron, OH, widower of Adeline Palazzolo Schofield, died Monday, August 9, 2010, at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Born on May 21, 1929, in Highland Park, MI, he was a son of the late Arthur and Marguerite Overbeck Schofield. Mr. Schofield was a Korean War Army veteran and a retired paint and chemical salesman.

Surviving are his sons, Gary Schofield of Medina, OH and Mark Schofield of Sheridan, MI; daughters, Lori (Joe) Cox of Medina, OH and Julie (Michael) Lynch of North Lima, OH; a sister, Marjorie Hoemke of Troy, MI; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
