Jacqulin Brown Lever, age 89, widow of Lewis Eugene Lever, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her home in Newberry.
She was born on June 19, 1936 in Clinton, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Henon Brown and Polly Massey Brown. Jacqulin worked and retired from Shakespeare of Newberry, attended Faith of Fountain Church, a member of the Newbery Eastern Star and volunteered at the Newberry Opera House.
Jacqulin is survived by her son, Curtis Lever (Linda) of Newberry; her daughter, Teresa Painter (Rick) of Newberry, her grandchildren, Crystal Borden (RJ), Brittney Williams (Ricky), Cody Lever (Wendy); her great grandchildren, Samantha White, Kaisie White, Ross Williams, Hayden White, Dalton Williams, Skarlytte Borden and her 5 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband Lewis of 70 years, Jacqulin is preceded in death by her sons, Kevin Joel Lever, Steven Craig Lever; her granddaughter, Melissa Lever; her siblings, Ella Mae Haskins, Joy Patterson, and Richard Brown.
The family will be having a private service at Newberry Memorial Gardens.
