James E. "Pete" Plampin

James E. “Pete” Plampin, Jr., 59, of Little Mountain, died Monday, November 23, 2015, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born on December 19, 1955, in Columbia. He was an Army veteran and had worked for UTI in Atlanta for 20 years and presently at Bi-Lo in Newberry. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Atlanta.

He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Bickley Plampin. He was predeceased by his father, James E. Plampin, Sr. and a brother, Jeffrey Wayne Plampin.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Trinity Life Center. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, PO Box 186, Little Mountain, SC 29075.
