James L. Davis

James Lee Davis, 37, of Newberry died August 21, 2014.

Born on April 17, 1977, in Augusta, Georgia, he was a son of Rufus Davis and Toni Underwood Lewis. He was employed by Georgia-Pacific and was a member of Cross Roads Christian Fellowship. He was a loving foster parent for 9 years.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rebekah Lewis Davis; sons, Bradley James Davis, Samuel Drey Davis, and Jacob Jamarrion Davis; daughters, Olivia Nicole Davis, and Cadeedra Williams Knuckles; a sister, Cynthia Jo Ann Davis; a brother, Rufus Scott Davis; a grandson, Matthew Aaron Knuckles; and his father and mother-in-law, Rev. Danny L. and Martha Lewis.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2014, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Dr. Roland Galloway. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to Exodus Ministries of Chattanooga, TN.
