James Poulos

James Walter “Buddy Boy” Poulos, 63, of Beaverton, MI, died Monday, May 14, 2012, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on May 24, 1948, in Saginaw, MI, he was a son of the late Donald and Marie Proux Poulos. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and was a member of the VFW. He was a graduate of Michigan State University, retired from General Motors and was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Poulos is survived by his wife, Sharon Lee Munger Poulos, a son, Jon (Donna) Horning of Newberry; daughters, Rene McAllum of Saginaw, MI and Romona (Larry) Sullivan of Wyoming, MI; sisters, Lori Munger of Beaverton, MI and Jayni Martineze of Mt. Pleasant, MI; brothers, Rick(Cyndi) Poulos of Cadallic, Mi, Gary (Norma) Poulos of Roscommon, MI and Randy (Linda) Poulos of Mesa, AR; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held handled by Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Home in Freeland, MI. Entombment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, MI.
