James Rikard

James William Rikard, 68, of Batesburg, died Saturday, March 3, 2012.

Born on December 23, 1943, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Charles L. and Vanoy Boatwright Rikard. Mr. Rikard was retired from Wellington.

He is survived by his wife, Magdalene Livingston Rikard; daughters, Linda Rikard of Batesburg and Julie Rikard of Pomaria; a sister, Peggy Dallis of Grovetown, GA and Robert F. Rikard of Lexington. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles D. Rikard.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012, at Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church by the Rev. Anthony Curcio. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Morris Chapel Southern Methodist Church, 1189 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
