Richard Shealy

James Richard Shealy, 68, of Prosperity, died at his residence.
Born on September 23, 1943, in Newberry, he was a son of the late James Clinton Shealy, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Cook Shealy. Mr. Shealy was retired from the University of South Carolina.
He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Hitch of Newberry, a brother, Robert Shealy and his wife Linda of Leesville and a nephew, Carroll Shealy.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 26, 2012, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
