Jo Ann Richardson

Jo Ann Richardson, 79, of Pomaria, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at her residence.

Born on June 6, 1942, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late George Ray and Eva Mae Boland Richardson.  Ms. Richardson was an Avon Representative for over 40 years.  She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Richardson and her fiancée, Randall Waites; a brother, James Richardson and her canine companion, Maggie.  She was predeceased by her fiancée, Louis Wicker.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Gary Brandenburg.  The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2496 SC Highway 773, Pomaria, SC 29126 or to Amedisys Hospice, 184 Commerce Drive, Newberry, SC 29108.
