John Claude Bundrick, Jr., 79, of Newberry, died Monday, April 6, 2026 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home.

Born on February 19, 1947 in Newberry, he was a son of the late, John Claude “J.C.” Bundrick, Sr. and Mary Kinard Bundrick. John was a 1965 graduate of Mid-Carolina High School. He loved pulling for the Gamecocks and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Bundrick (Dean) Wise of Prosperity; a son, Jason (Morgan) Bundrick of Little Mountain; a brother, Eddie (Linda) Bundrick of Prosperity; grandchildren, Jasmine Bundrick, Connor Bundrick, and Cole Bundrick; brothers-in-law, Wayne Parker and Danny Meetze. He was predeceased by sisters, Kay B. Parker and Lynn Meetze.

Private graveside services will be conducted in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
