John Wayne Cohen

John Wayne Cohen, 74, of Newberry, widower of Linda Holmes Cohen, died Friday, April 21, 2017, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on December 24, 1942, in Cowpens, he was a son of the late Paul and Lola Cohen. He worked for American Fiber & Finishing, Oakland Plant and later worked at Newberry High School.

Mr. Cohen is survived by a son, John Edward (Danielle) Cohen of Newberry; a daughter, Donna Marie (George Anthony) Huggin of Pomaria; a sister, Catherine Moates of Newberry and five grandchildren.

No formal funeral service is planned.
