Joseph "Joe" Frick

Joseph “Joe” Bryan Frick, 38, of Gaffney, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.

Born on April 27, 1985, in West Columbia, he was a son of Timothy W. Frick and Angela Stewart Thomas. He had worked in the restaurant industry.

Joe is survived in addition to his parents, Timothy Frick and Angela (Jim) Thomas by his six children, Mason Frick, Jasmine Frick, Allyssa Frick, Aaliyah Frick, Hermione Frick and Peyton Frick; step-daughter, Aryanna McCurry; sister, Kimberly Frick; brother, Kenneth Frick; grandmother, Louise Frick; uncles, Terry Frick, James “Bud” (Regina) Lake; aunt, Mindy McManus; 10 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Bill Stewart and Rose Graham, paternal grandfather, Benny Frick and step-grandmother, Margaret Frick.

The family will receive friends at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm. Memorials may be made be made to Agape Hospice, 260 Fairwinds Dr, Landrum, SC 29356.

His mother lost her “little bird” as he has now flown home.
