Juana Popoca-Real

Juana Popoca-Real, 76, of Newberry, died Friday, August 10, 2018, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on March 9,1942, in Chapotepec, Guerrero, Mexico, she was a daughter of the late Gilberto Popoca and Leonor Real. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

Mrs. Popoca-Real is survived by her husband, Miguel Sanchez and two sons, seven daughters, thirty-one grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm Saturday, August 18, 2018, at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 - 5:30 pm and Friday from 11:00 - 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
