Judy Wicker

Judy Berry Wicker, 78, of Prosperity, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her residence.

Born on November 10, 1944 in Newberry, she was the daughter of the late L.G. and Mary Irene Williams Berry. She was a homemaker, and showed her devotion and love for children by working at Small World Daycare and volunteering at Mid-Carolina Middle School. Mrs. Wicker was also a talented pianist, and was even able to play songs by ear. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband; Colie Jerry Wicker; daughter, Renda W. (Gregg) Glymph, of Pomaria; grandchildren, Jeremy (Stacy) Shealy, Emily G. (Ryan) Ott, and Grace Glymph; a great-grandchild, Jackson Shealy; and step-great-grandchild, Brantley Clark. She was predeceased by her daughter, Rita W. Shealy.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 4, 2023 in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 2496 S.C. Highway 773, Pomaria, S.C. 29126.
