Julia Shiflett

Julia Agnes Wilson Marrs Shiflett, 89, of Newberry, died Thursday, March 4, 2010, at her residence.

Born on December 20, 1920, in North Garden, VA, she was a daughter of the late Louis Thurman Wilson and Mary Elizabeth Sprouse Wilson Hubbard.

Surviving are her sons, David Roscoe Marrs and Roger Wilson Marrs; a daughter, Glenda Elizabeth Gregory; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was twice married, first to the late Clarence Roscoe Marrs and secondly to the late Morgan Claywood Shiflett. She was also predeceased by a son, Clarence Wayne Marrs.

Funeral services will be held in Gordsonville, Virginia with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa, Virginia.
