Kandace Schmidt

Kandace Lee Ann Phillips Schmidt, 31, of Newberry, died November 17, 2021.

Born on February 16, 1990, in Newberry, she was a daughter of Lee Farmer and Chelsa Denise Phillips Beach. She was employed at Comfort Care and she had a love for singing.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband, Chauncey Thomas Schmidt; a son, Dominic Alexander Schmidt; a daughter, Malaya Noel Lopez; sisters, Kelly (Adam) Hendrix, Michelle (John) Hughes, Jessica Wilson, Shana Wilson and Zoey Beach; a brother, Shane Wilson; an uncle, Shawn (Tosha) Phillips.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, December 1, 2021, in the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be sent to the funeral home at 1724 Main Street, Newberry, SC 29108, to help defray the funeral expenses,
