It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen Chapman who passed away on July 26, 2026 at the age of 62. Karen was born on June 13, 1964 in Moncks Corner, SC.

She lived her life with devotion to God and family. She will be remembered for her soft heart, gentle spirit, and the joy she brought to the ones she most loved. A devoted wife, loving daughter, mother and grandmother, she was also a cherished sister and friend who be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Karen enjoyed her church, First Baptist Church of Prosperity, where she worked in the nursery, worshiping with her church family and spending time with loved ones. She will continue to live on through those whose lives she has touched.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth Chapman, her son, Ken and his wife, Paula; her grandchildren, Moss and Rylee; her mother, Mimmie Warner; and her brothers, Mac and Kelly Pierce as well as extended family members and many dear friends. She has gone on to join her father George, her cherished mother-in-law, Clara, her step-father, Rick, grandmother, Maude McClure (Granny) and her father-in-law, Bearl "Frank" Chapman (Papaw).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Prosperity by the Rev. James Michel Walker. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of her life with a visitation beginning at 12:00 pm at the church.
