Kay Johnson

Linda Kay Bass Johnson, 56, of Edgemoor, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at UniHealth of Rock Hill.

Born on April 23, 1957, in Rock Hill, she was a daughter of Ann Simpson Bass and the late Robert James Bass, Sr. Ms. Johnson was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Bass; a son, Jason Lee Baker; a daughter, Stephanie Johnson; a brother, Greg Bass and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Robin Hefner and a brother, Jimmy Bass.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Harmony Baptist Church by the Rev. Woody Oliver. The family will be at the home of Mrs. Betty Avery, 3445 Mt. Holly Road, Edgemoor where they will receive friends Friday from 5:00- 8:00 pm and they will also will receive friends at the church following the service. Memorials may be made to Harmony Baptist Church, 5403 Harmony Church Road, Edgemoor, SC 29712.
