Kenneth Wayne Hyler

Kenneth Wayne Hyler, 59, of Newberry, died December 5, 2022 at his residence.

Born on June 7, 1963 in Newberry, he was a son of the late Ernest J. and Roberta Howell Hyler.

Kenneth worked for many years at the Newberry Observer then later worked in construction.

He was a former Governor of the Newberry Moose Lodge. He loved spending time riding his Harley-Davidson. He loved taking trips to the mountains and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends. Kenneth never met a stranger, and always wanted everyone to have a good time.

He is survived by a daughter, Brandi (Ryan) Wicker of Swansea; a son, Kenneth Justin Hyler; a sister, Diane Breed, of Georgia; brothers, Cliff (Robin) Hyler of Newberry, Robert (Lane) Hyler of Whitmire, David Hyler of Gray Court, and William (Cindy) Hyler of Newberry; grandchildren, Braylynn Hyler, Briceson Hyler, and Brooklyn Hyler; and his longtime companion, Barbara Dock.

A memorial service will be held at the Newberry Moose Lodge, 2440 Wilson Road, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 3:00PM..
