Kenneth Kay Moore

Kenneth Kay Moore, 77, of Newberry, died Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on September 6, 1933, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Butler A. and Elizbeth Singley Moore. He was an army veteran and a member of Glenn Street Baptist Church. He was an artist who enjoyed painting and wood carving whose art work was on display at the S.C. State Museum.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Clairis Summer Moore; a daughter, Pamela Moore Mouser of Fort Mill; a sister, June Fulmer of Chapin and a brother, William R. Moore of Columbia.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2011, at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Terry Amick.
