Kiester Berry

Kiester Wayne Berry, 57, of Newberry, died Monday, November 17, 2014, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on November 30, 1956, in Proserity, he was a son of Samuel Berry and the late Alice Moore Berry. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, he was a graduate of Piedmont Technical College and was retired from Louis Rich. He loved playing his guitar.

Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Ramona Fowler Berry; father and step-mother, Samuel and Jackie I. Berry; brother, Charles Rodney Berry of Pomaria; brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy (Abby) Carroll of Whitmire; Mark (Casyce) Cronk of Chapin and Raymond (Cindy) Fowler of Columbia; niece, Kandace Carroll and nephews, Nathanael and Ethan Cronk; mother-in-law, Marie W. Cronk of Newberry. He was predeceased by a brother, Russell Andrew Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Freedom Baptist Church by the Rev. Eddie Bledsoe. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
