Larry Rhyne

Larry Neal Rhyne, 79, of Whitmire, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Newberry Health.

Born on February 23, 1946, in Gastonia, NC, he was a son of the late Neal Rhyne and Mildred Jackson Gurley. Mr. Rhyne was retired after 32 years from Tyco of Rock Hill. He enjoyed life and found great pleasure in fishing, hunting, camping and riding his motorcyle.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda Kaye Huffstickler Rhyne; a son, Larry James (Sarah) Rhyne of Whitmire; daughters, Teresa Russell of Port Orange, FL, Sherrill Collins of Belmont, NC, Mildred Vancil of Whitmire and Rebecca Glaze of Whitmire; a sister, Barbara Bruner of Dallas, NC; a brother, Jeff Rhyne of Dallas, NC; thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Roger Rhyne and Jack Rhyne.
