Linda Blackman

Linda Huband Blackman, 68, of Newberry, died Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on April 3, 1950 in Cleveland, OH, she was a daughter of the late James Arthur Huband and Barbara Downey Winecoff. She was an Interior Decorator.

Mrs. Blackman is survived by her husband, Joel Blackman; a son, Rev. Brett (Mary Beth) Blackman of Newberry; sisters, Diane (John) Leininger of Boerne, TX and Julie (Wesley) Sparkman of Birmingham, AL; a brother, Gary (Helen) Huband of Aliso Viejo, CA and granddaughters, Elizabeth Blackman, Abigail Blackman and Rebecca Blackman.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Cannon's Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John Paul Marr. The family will receive friends following the service.
