Linda D. Cohen

Linda Darnell Holmes Cohen, 62, of Newberry, died Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 24, 1952, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Mack Holmes and Bettie Somers Green.

Mrs. Cohen is survived by her husband, John Wayne Cohen; a son, John Cohen of Newberry; a daughter, Marie Huggin of Pomaria; a sister, Debbie Timmons of Newberry and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lisa Brady and a brother, James Holmes.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at 2:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
