Linda Faye Burgess Taylor, 60, of Prosperity, died Friday, September 6, 2013, at her residence.
Born on August 17, 1953, in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Herman Burgess and Hazel Whitmore Burgess Smith.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her husband, Samuel R. Taylor and sisters including her twin, Sharon B. Hamilton of Prosperity and Shirley Proffitt of Clinton. She was predeceased by sisters, Ella Mae Bagwell and Harriett Crowell.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 7, 2013, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Brian Preston. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 2541 Evans Street, Suite 200, Newberry, SC 29108.
