Sarah Lindsey Waldrop, 31, of Newberry, died Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at her residence.

Born on March 14, 1995 in Rock Hill, she was a daughter of William Davis Waldrop, Jr. and Terri Boyd Brooks. Lindsey graduated from Newberry High School and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Lindsey enjoyed being near the water. She liked to sit in the sand at the beach and watch the waves come in. She liked to ride and be on the move. She and her dad would spend hours, driving their Polaris along the country back roads. Lindsey also loved riding the golf cart with her siblings and her mom. She liked singing Christmas songs and would always laugh when her mom and siblings would make funny faces at her. Lindsey loved to eat, especially cake and cookies. Lindsey never met a stranger and was loved by everyone that knew her.

She is survived by her parents; Terri B. (Chris) Brooks of Newberry and William D. “Billy” (Sabrina) Waldrop, Jr. of Pomaria; a sister, Madison Reppart (Jerry Noah) ; a brother, Colson Enlow (Brent Corley); grandparents, Lillian Hoeschen, Bill and Diane Waldrop, Marvin and Marilyn Miller, and Ronnie and Dianne Banister; 2 nieces, Amelia Noah and Hayden Corley;aunts and uncles, Susan (Robbie) Dowd, Bryan (Crystal) Waldrop, Stanton Lester (Mark Sherman), Jackie (Kim) Harris, Fay Koon, Destry Harris, Hope (Kevin) Carter, and Jamie Miller; and a special caregiver who was like another mother, Cathy Herbert.

She was predeceased by a brother, Peyton Reppart; grandfathers, Jerry Hoeschen and Fred Boyd; and great-grandparents, Ralph and Mary Waldrop, Frank and Sarah Waldrep and Joyce Dollar.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00PM Monday, June 22, 2026 at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Mike Watson and Rev. Keith Stewart. Burial will follow in the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 622 Hope Station Road, Pomaria, SC 29126 or to Central United Methodist Church, PO Box 67, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pall bearers will be Noah Waldrop, Hagen Waldrop, Mike Miller, Brent Corley, Benjy Goings, and Robbie Dowd.
