Lucille Jane Waddingham Cassatt, 89, of Saluda, widow of Homer Leahon Cassatt, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her home.

Born on October 9, 1936, in Tittusville, PA, she was a daughter of the late William Miller Waddingham and Margaret Lucille Salsgiver Burrows. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Mrs. Cassatt is survived by daughters, Wanda Grubbs and Ruth (Anthony) Williams of Saluda; a son, Joseph (Anna) Duncan of Troy, NY; brothers, Duane (Lorraine) Burrows of Tittusville, PA, Gerald (Bonnie) Burrows of Oil City, PA and Norman Burrows of New Castle, PA; eighteen grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Bembury, brothers, David Burrows, Charles Burrows, Kenneth Burrows, and Gordon Burrows, and sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Barrett and Nancy Edwards.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday February 22, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Newberry Ward. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends at the church prior to the funeral from 3:00 p – 3:45 am.

Memorials may be made to VIA Hospice.
