Mack H. Cathcart

Mack H. Cathcart, 60, of Whitmire died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Palmetto Health Richland.

Born on September 15, 1952, in Newberry County, he was a son of the late Bannie and Frances Berley Cathcart. He was a supervisor with Richloom Decorative Fabric's of Clinton and a part-time employee of Lowes of Newberry. He attended Victory Worship Center and was a former member of Consolidate #5 Fire Department. Mack enjoyed his family, his friends, his work and his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Ann S. Cathcart; a son, Tony Cathcart, a daughter, Thelma Cathcart of the home; a sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Chapman of Simpsonville. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Cathcart.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Victory Worship Center in Clinton by the Rev. Phil Bryson and Rev. Bob Tate. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thelma Cathcart College Fund c/o the Victory Worship Center.
