Margaret A. Mills

Margaret Amick Mills, 92, of Newberry, widow of Adam Dewitt Mills, died Thursday, September 10, 2015, at White Oak Manor.

Born on June 6, 1923, in Peak, she was a daughter of the late Jacob Haskell and Margaret Myrtle Bundrick Amick. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian.

Mrs. Mills is survived by her son, Larry Mills of Newberry; daughters, Barbara (Stanley) Sprouse of Greenwood, Judy (Mark) Arrington of Inman, Ann (Dale) Shealy of Newberry and Mary Lynn (Glenn) Nelson of Cross Hill; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, September 13, 2015, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Stanley Sprouse. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:30 – 3:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Active pallbearers will be Clay Shealy, Dusty Nelson, Trey Arrington, Schanen Sprouse, David Proctor and Michael Mills.
