Margaret Hallman Boozer, 76, of Prosperity, died Saturday, September 5, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on March 16, 1950, in Batesburg, she was a daughter of the late Clifton and Mary Lou Keisler Hallman. Margaret retired after a long career with Newberry Federal and First Community Bank. She was a member of Wightman Methodist Church where she was involved with the Women of Wightman. She was an active member of the Gideons International Auxiliary.

Margaret is survived by her husband, James E. “Jimmy” Boozer; a daughter, Carla Boozer; grandchildren, Heather (Derik) Muise, Monica (Eddie) Chavez, Corey Brown and Maliyah Boozer; a great-grandson, Samson Muise; siblings, Ed (Helen) Hallman, Mildred Long, Myrtle (Ollie) Salter, David (Mary Ann) Hallman, Brice (Alice) Hallman, Mirinda (Ron) Disher, Winfred (Naomi) Hallman, Marriet (Joe) Tollison and Joseph (Marybeth) Hallman; sister-in-law, Jeannene Hallman as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was predeceased by a son, Darren Boozer; a brother Bruce Hallman and brothers-in-law, Lynard Long, Stanley Boozer and sisters-in-law, Gloria (Tommy) Bennett and Debra (Wayne) Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Wightman Methodist Church by the Rev. Gryff Carosiello. Burial will follow in Bachman Chapel Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Wightman Methodist Church.
