Mary Frances Bowers

Mary Frances Bowers, 74, of Prosperity, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her home.

Born on July 25, 1951, in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Adrian Lester “Pete” and Lucille Shealy Bowers. Mary Frances was a member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a son, Shawn (Yong) Bowers of Prosperity; a sister, Avalona Bowers of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Kevin and Alex and great-granddaughter, Chloe.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery by the Rev. Paulette McHugh. The family will receive friends following the service.
