Mary D. Traylor

Mary Dorroh Traylor, 82, of Silverstreet, widow of William Henry Traylor, died Thursday, March 13, 2014.

Born on November 21, 1931, in Silverstreet, she was a daughter of the late Henry David and Veda Pitts Dorroh. She was retired from the S.C. Forestry Commission. Mrs. Traylor was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and a former member of the Lydia Circle.

She is survived by a son, William Eddie Traylor of Silverstreet; a daughter, Ann (Gene) Thomas of Silverstreet; a sister, Beth (Jimmy) Haltiwanger of Silverstreet; grandchildren, Nick (Jill) Zueger, Jessica Griffen, Michelle (Tommy) Butler, Suzanne (Brian) Bailey, and Bryan (Leigh) Thomas and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Alfred Dorroh.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Smyrna Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Mark Horne. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:30 – 2:45 pm at the church.
