Mary Elizabeth Boland

Mary Elizabeth Boland, 96, of Pomaria died Monday, November 3, 2014 at J.F. Hawkins Health Care.

Born on May 10, 1918, in Little Mountain, she was a daughter of the late Levi Bates and Minnie Metts Boland. She was a member of Pomaria Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a nephew, Harvey Boland of Prosperity, nieces; Beverly Potter of Augusta, and Diane Drummond of Greenville; nieces who grew up with her in the home, Jackie Darby of Columbia, and Rebecca Weber of N. Myrtle Beach; and a special caregiver, Pat Ruff. She was predeceased by brothers, Charlie Boland and Leland Boland; and sisters, Estelle Ruff, Grace Counts, and Minnie Lee Shealy.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2014 in Pomaria Cemetery by the Rev. Derald Edwards. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
