Maxine Pulliam Jennings

Maxine Pulliam Jennings, 78, of Newberry, died Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Born on August 12, 1944, in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Elinor James Hoffman. She was an event planner and had formerly volunteered with the Newberry Opera Guild.

Ms. Jennings is survived by daughters, Chapin Johnson Dean (Andy) of Greenville and Louise Johnson Rex (Adam) of Pomaria; grandchildren, McKenzie Gregory, Madison Reid, Hannah Mauldin, Haley Mauldin, and Olivia Rex, and two great-grandchildren.

No formal funeral service is being planned, but the family suggests that those desiring may make memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758516 Topeka, KS 66675.

The family will have a drop-in on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the home of Louise and Adam Rex, 297 Wicker Road, Pomaria, SC.
