Michael Douglas Mangrum, 55, of Newberry, died Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Born on August 12, 1956, in Atlanta, GA, he was a son of Gloria Barnett Mangrum and the late Lowell Eugene Mangrum. He was a Navy veteran and was a tree surgeon.
Mr. Mangrum is survived by his mother, Gloria Mangrum; sisters, Peggy Sue Crawley, Cynthia Ann Mangrum and Karen Scudder and brothers, Lowell Eugene Mangrum, Jr., William Robert Mangrum and Anthony Patrick Mangrum.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011, at Serenity Chapel.
