Michael Alan Miner

Michael Alan Miner,70, of Newberry, died Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his residence.

Born on March 7, 1952 in Rogersville, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Clay Miner and Kate Goodman Kite.

He was a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University and retired from the Savannah River Site. After retirement, he worked at Newberry High School, Hardees, and Wal-Mart. He loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Miner; Children, Michael (Erin) Miner, Brandon Miner, Mary Michell Miner, and Allison Alaine Miner; a sister, Gail Miner, brothers, Gary Miner and Eric Miner; granddaughters, Hemsley Miner and Ashley Miner; grandmother-in-law, Hazel Wicker; brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Monica Wicker; and a nephew, Barry Shane Wicker.

A private family service will be held.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
