Molly Doolittle

Molly Doolittle, 76, of Pomaria passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her home after a long illness.

Born on July 3, 1938, in Pomaria, she was a daughter of the late Bart Nixon and Helen Beryl Cromer Doolittle. Molly graduated from Monticello High School in Fairfield County and completed a secretarial course in business administration at Newberry College. She was employed by Cone Mills (Carlisle Plant) as a secretary for 42 years before retiring to care for her mother and aunt. She was a member of Enoree Baptist Church where served as the church organist for 64 years on a volunteer basis.

She is survived by her twin sister, Polly Doolittle of the home; and special cousin, Phillip Cromer of Pomaria, Benjamin Cromer of Little Mountain and Brandon Cromer of North Augusta.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, May 4, 2015 at Enoree Baptist Church by the Rev. George Leagans. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Enoree Baptist Church building fund, c/o Mrs. Reba Lake, 5101 Jollystreet Road, Newberry, SC 29108.

Active pall bearers will be Bob Ariail,Mike Cromer, Ronnie Cromer, Charles Doolittle, Ray Doolittle and Roy Doolittle.
