Olin Smith, Jr.

Olin Smith, Jr., 86, of Newberry, widower of Azilee Morris Smith, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at White Oak Manor.

Born on July 24, 1930, in Lexington, he was a son of the late Olin Smith, Sr. and Pearl Spicer. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a retired farmer.

Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Michael Ray (Carol) Smith of Chapin; a daughter Sandra Gail Clark of Newberry; a sister, Dolly Blount; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers, Belton C. Smith and Ray Allen Spicer and a sister, Marie Martin.

Private family service will be held.
