Orval A. "Bud" Stanfield

Orval Allen “Bud” Stanfield, 70, of Pomaria, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center.

Born on September 26, 1953, in Willard, OH, he was a son of the late Clayton Doyle Stanfield and Esther Ruth Holthouse Old.  Mr. Stanfield retired as a control room operator for SCE&G (Dominion Energy). He had a strong passion for singing Blue Grass music.

Mr. Stanfield is survived by his wife, Cathy Kennedy Stanfield; sons, James (Rachel) Stanfield of North Augusta and Joel (Kathy) Stanfield of Blythewood; a sister, Kathy (Kim) Jenne of Ohio; a brother, Eric (Susan) Old of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Taylor Thomas, Tara Thomas, Carlie Lamb, Clayton Stanfield, Lawson Stanfield and Camryn Stanfield.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 20, 2024, at his home, 268 Ray Drive, Pomaria, SC.
