Pauline "Susie" Amick

Pauline Cockran “Susie” Amick, 74, of Prosperity, died Saturday, July 9, 2022, at MUSC-Kershaw Medical Center.

Born on June 28, 1948, in York, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Pauline Cope Cochran. She was a homemaker, but served as a caregiver to many in the community over the years. Mrs. Amick was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and an avid Coca-Cola memorabilia collector.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Amick; sons, Richard Dale Lynn of Belmont, NC and Kristopher Amick of Lexington; daughters, Ashley (Leon) Howard and Natalie Amick both of Prosperity, Dixie (Galen) Roche of Whitmire and Kimberly (Clay) Smith of Newberry; brothers, Clifford Cochran and Clyde Cochran both of York and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home.
