Phillip Earl Cromer, 78, of Pomaria, died Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at White Oak Manor.

Born on March 27, 1948 in Newberry, he was the son of the late George Earl and Grace Hentz Cromer.

After graduating from Mid-Carolina High School, Phillip began his career in the construction aggregates industry. He worked for Lonestar which later became Tarmac, and then Vulcan. Phillip served as plant manager of the Blair plant and then worked with quality control over the state until his retirement. He was a member of Enoree Baptist Church.

One of his favorite things to do was to ride Harley Davidson motorcycles. Phillip enjoyed writing poetry and was a talented artist. He was very creative and could also build almost anything with his hands.

Phillip is survived by his two sons, Benjie Cromer and his wife Shannon of Little Mountain and Bran Cromer and his wife Faith of North Augusta; two grandsons, Connor Cromer and Blair Cromer both of Little Mountain.

He was predeceased by special cousins, Molly and Polly Doolittle.

Private services will be held at a later date.
