Phronzie Willis

Phronzi Turner Willis, 79, of Newberry, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Hospice of Laurens County.

Born on January 31, 1941 in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late Bennie Lee and Juanita Goings Turner. She worked for the Kendall Company – Oakland Plant and was a member Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.

Ms. Willis is survived by sons, Johnny (Angie) Willis of Little Mountain and William (Tammy) Willis of Columbia; a sister, Bennie Sue Hiller of Newberry; a brother, Randolph Turner of Goose Creek; grandchildren, Bryanna Willis, Ashlynne Waters and Andrew Waters and a niece and nephew, Randi Turner and Mike Turner.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. Jimmy Counts. Memorials may be made to Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church, 1105 First Street, Newberry, SC 29108. Due to COVID-19 everyone is asked to adhere to the CDC social distancing guidelines and make plans on attending accordingly.
