Ralph Quattlebaum

Ralph Alton Quattlebaum, 94, of Lexington, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his residence.

Born on March 13, 1927, in Newberry, he was a son of the late Alton Calvin and Annie Belle Harmon Quattlebaum. He was a US Coast Guard veteran and a graduate of Newberry College. Mr. Quattlebaum retired from General Motors and was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Sanchez Quattlebaum; sons, Ralph Alton (Leslie) Quattlebaum, Ronald Jefferson (Michelle) Quattlebaum and Mark Leon Quattlebaum all of Chapel Hill, NC; a daughter, Anniebelle Lynn Quattlebaum of Lexington; a brother, James Oscar (Janice) Quattlebaum of Newberry and a grandson, Ian Marc (Alex) Quattlebaum of Carrboro, NC. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lavina Quattlebaum.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, May 24, 2021 at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Camden Bagwell. Memorials may be made to Feed the Children, 333 N. Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK 73107
