Randal Lee

Randal Cromer Lee, 53, of Newberry, died Monday, August 30, 2010, at his residence.

Born on September 20, 1956, in Newberry, he was a son of Ruby Lee Cromer Lee and the late Russell William Lee. Mr. Lee was a former employee of Clinton Newberry Gas Authority and a member of Zion United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and Nascar fan especially a strong follower of Dale Earnhardt. He loved his Boston Terriers.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Newberry is his daughter, Jordan Lee (Brooks) Cannady of Newberry; a brother, Russell Alan Lee of Newberry; a step-granddaughter, Emily Cannady. Mr. Lee was predeceased by a daughter, Randi Danielle Lee.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 2, 2010, at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff O’Dell. Burial will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Newberry County Animal Shelter.
