Renee Phillips

Corrina Renee Kyzer Phillips, 94, of Newberry, widow of Henry D. Phillips, died Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at White Oak Manor.

Born on September 10, 1921, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Reedy E. and Isabelle Jenetta Lucas Kyzer. She was a homemaker and a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by a son, Donald Turner of Greenville; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann (Justin) Butler of Greer; a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Elaine Butler and brothers, Raymond (Betty) Kyzer and Ezell Kyzer both of Newberry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jimmy Counts and the Rev. Roger Phillips. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1:30 pm at McSwain-Evans Funeral Home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lewis United Methodist Church, 1105 First Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
