Rev. Lewis Wimberley

Reverend Lewis Ray Wimberley, 75, of Newberry, died Sunday, January 19, 2014.

Born on December 11, 1938, in Clovis, New Mexico, he was a son of the late John Herschel and Ruth Laverne Shofner Wimberley. Rev. Wimberley was a church planting minister for the Evangelical Free Church.

He is survived by his wife, Thora Estelle Hofrichter Wimberley; sons, Kurt Alan Wimberley, Kevin Mark Wimberley, Kris Nathan Wimberley and Kyle Ray Wimberley; sisters, Juanel Morrow and Louise Mulanax; grandchildren, Craig Alan Wimberley, Jenna Pray Wimberley and Michael Ray Wimberely.

A private family memorial service will be held later.
